Jubilee Outreach Church

San Antonio, TX

Combines cost efficiency with religious expression.

The building structure is actually four independent pre-engineered metal buildings “pushed together” to make a single building. The four “pieces” contain the different areas of the church: classrooms and offices, sanctuary, main lobby, lobby for the sanctuary. Each piece has a distinct shape which is efficient for the internal spaces. This keeps cost down while making recognizable shapes.

Colors
Blue: Fluid nature similar to learning in the classrooms.
Beige: Stone. Acoustic panels stacked like limestone blocks at the Jerusalem Wailing Wall.
Green: Lobby overlooking the garden.
White: Building of light. Main lobby where people of all colors, backgrounds, and personalities come together as they enter.

The building is now a landmark in this area of the City, and has been published nationally.
